A true feline love story

I had 2 outside cats, a male and a female, and they were inseperable, when you saw one the other was afew steps behind and on more than one occassion they were observed walking side by side so close that their shoulders would bump.

Their names where Goldie and Biscuit.

Goldie died suddenly in Jan. of this year.

Biscuit was devastated.

We tried to help him cope by bringing him inside to be with the other cats, he hated it. We gave him extra attension and food and vitamins... tried to comfort him and console him.

For a month he searched for Goldie even though we showed him her body before we burried her.

He pined for her for 4 months.

He died today from anemia.

They were 3 years old.

He was burried as he was in life, side by side with Goldie.

I have to stop typing now, my keyboard is getting wet.

Re: A true feline love story

I've had cats all of my 43 years and never have I seen anything like it.

Biscuit never  gave any trouble with the chickens, I had to check the coop each night because sometimes he would go in and go to sleep with them.

He died around 10 this morning, and stupid me caught myself checking the coop for him tonight.

Re: A true feline love story

Beautiful cats, Rooster.  Cats always make themselves seem so aloof and separate from the chaos around them. And then they go and do something like that.  Scuse me while I go and give mine a hug. If she will let me...          huga  Rooster.
