Re: ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH

Youb are all over thinking this.  Get a gun, have some dinner.  rotflol  Really though, the best way to stop deer is a high electric fence around your garden, just watch your head going in.  Also, barn cats (at least mine) seem to keep all of the smaller animals away.  They don't eat my garden, but I guess since I feed them they like to protect my stuff.  I love those little buggers.

the hair thing works, and get all the fellows in your family to pee around the garden perimeter

Ugh! That would so stink!! We went to the swamp to the back of our property and throw grass, oat, clover, extra veggie seeds, old veggie seeds, whatever back there. It serves a duel purpose. The deer stay away from the garden area and well.....you can guess the other, lol

Re: ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH

My Aunt used to buy coyote pee and that works. I have no idea where one finds coyote pee, though!

Oh and for slugs, besides crushing up eggshells around your plants you can keep little pans of beer near them and it kills the slugs I guess. A waste of good beer my DH would say...but not me. haha
