I finished one more yesterday so now I have.....26.  shocked  Every time I complete one more I add it to the pile and feel like "shouldn't the stack look bigger now"???  Slow and steady wind the race, I guess.

Re: CROCHET GRANNY SQUARE SWAP!!!!!!!!!! (SIGN UP CLOSED!!!)

So Tammy, what number are we shooting for? I am still working on them since Toes is out for awhile with her wrist in a air cast and in a sling, so I am not done yet..... on to starting hers. Oh, and it looks like Mom wants me to make a baby blanket for a shower we were all invited to, but being as it is 1000 miles away, I won't be going, but still we all go together and do big gifts or lots of things, has kinda always been that way I guess. Anyway, my question to you, is how on earth do I connect those squares together to make the  blanket instead of a bunch of squares just sitting next to each other. Oh, and is there an easy/cute pattern that can be used for a little girls baby blanket?

Re: CROCHET GRANNY SQUARE SWAP!!!!!!!!!! (SIGN UP CLOSED!!!)

The original goal was as many squares as there are people.
Depending on how many people we end up with, I would say lets do an increment of the # of people.
20 people would be 20, 40, 60 squares, etc.
I see no problem with getting 2 or 3 squares from each person.
I guess that will remain undetermined until we have a final participant count.

Let me know what you think!  smile
