Oh BEAUTIFUL!!   love love

I'm a wicked sucker for Daisies.  What kind are those two?  That bright melony/pinky one is to die for!

Re: A few flowers

Meg, they're just plain old gerbera daisies.

I usually try to plant something new every year but unfortunately didn't do it this year.
Those daisies are what I planted last year.
But I did buy a couple of geraniums, which are still in the pot!  hmm

I have a couple of Easter lilies and a couple of orange lilies but don't know what kind they are.
Also got a few canna lilies (I think).

I got a big camelia or sesanqua (sp ?)  not sure which, but it is loaded with buds right now.
I think it's actually a camelia since it usually blooms in very early spring but all those early buds are making me think twice about what it is.

And I have 8 gardenias on one end of the house...........LOVE that scent!  love

HHHMMMMMM!  I bet your house smells so good!!  Gardenias are my favorite smelly flower!   I love the scent and just the way they look.  You are so lucky.  Aren't Gardenias kinda fussy?  I love the daisy's too, very pretty!    Trudy

Trudy, I have no idea!
I have 8 on the North end of my house, the soil really isn't that good.  We planted them about 10 years ago, the soil was basically red clay and I mixed in some Miracle Grow potting soil when we planted them.

I have to cut them back every year because they shadow each other out, I'm getting rid of 4 of them, taking out every other one so the ones staying can grow.

Re: A few flowers

Okay  If I lived closer I would be over there just smelling your gardenias!  Guess I am going to try that next year and put mine on the North end of our house too and see what happens!  Thanks Tammy!   smile

Re: A few flowers

Trudy,
Do you have problems with WHITE FLIES on yours?

They are terrible here, will get on the underside of the leaf and that leaves a black sooty residue on the top side of the leaf, and it doesn't just wash off either, it sticks to the leaf and you basically have to scratch it off.

I have to spray for them 2 or 3 times a year.

I'll get some gardenia pics tomorrow.  smile
