Wildchicken, your Darcy is too pretty!  He is the most frizzly frizzle I have seen. 

I hope my Mr. Frizzy grows up to be even half as frizzly as him. Mr. Frizzy hasnt filled in all the way yet, but he's getting there.  And he crows about how handsome he is all the time!


3 acres of chickens and more!  1 Hubby, 4 sons (bio 26 yr. old, adopted 17, 10 and 8 yr. olds).....we work full time and play even harder, including camping, geocaching, I drive my own 4x4 blazer, and there's never a dull moment being owned by so many pets including my Llama, potbelly pig, pygmy goat, pigeons, etc.

Sophia, we had a good laugh looking at your WCB Polish frizzle. We love his hairdo!

Here are a few of my frizzles- as babies and teens...
smooth feathered Blue Cochin...

another younger smooth feathered blue cochin


a black mottled frizzled cochin

a different black cochin


a frizzle feathered buff cochin


1 day old frizzled black mottled cochins



more of those last ones as soon as I can get pics- they are  starting to look frizzled...

Lisa, those chicks are adorable!!!

When I first got chickens I did not want any feather legged breeds and now the cochins are one of my favorite.
If I had the space I would definitely have more cochins in different  colors!   love

Thanks Tammy- I love them too.  They all have a separate pen (along with my faverolles, polish and silkies at least) so the clean legged ones don't pick on them.

ok- here are updated pics of my frizzled cochins (eggs that hatched 2 weeks ago & came from dipsydoodledoo...)
