Rhode Island Reds Post Pictures of yours

Rhode Island Reds are layers of big brown eggs.
They lay almost everyday and continue laying through winter.

They are considered a winter hearty breed, bred to cope with New  England winters.

Lovely birds!  I have 2 RIR's and find they are the most docile and winter hardy of my flock.  Although my little Polish mix gives me a medium size egg almost every day.  My RIR's give me extra large eggs and very often also.  Gotta love em!
