Your chooks are stunningly beautiful! Especially your rooster!
That gold laced roo is stunning!
Thank you guys
I'm afraid the rooster got too old (unproductive and selfish ), but we're getting a new roo chicken this summer and hope he will turn out as good
It's fun to see all your pics, these aren't such a usual breed/color here
I love those SIlver Laced Wyandottes
and I like your login.
Thank you paganfish - your login is cool too
I have a bunch of SLW chickens at the moment and am struggling to pick out which roo chicken to keep..
I have completely fallen for these colours, which unfortunately are so rare here it's difficult to get hold of new ones
But I must say I'm baffled by the single combs I saw a couple of pictures of in this thread - does this happen often in the US? Anyone know why? I haven't seen a single comb wyandotte here..
My 5 week olds...LOVE them...we had a buff and a rir but the buff was a roo and the rir was taken by a cat;
so I splurged w these...arent they cute...will try to get better shots...Zelda and nurse betty are their names, the jury is out on the slow to feather gal so its either johnny or june:
